Redken Frizz Dismiss is one of those products that comes along and you think ‘well we already have a smoothing shampoo and conditioner and that works fine’
You then try this and ‘Wow’ what a difference!
For a start it offers a FPF (frizz protection factor) with four levels of smoothing from fine to coarse hair its also sulfate and sodium chloride free (a first for Redken) so its also safe for chemically straightened hair.
The system comprises of a shampoo and conditioner and a mask for intensive conditioning.
You follow this with either the FPF 20 Smooth Force spray for lightweight smoothing on fine to medium hair in low humidity or if you need the big guns its FPF 40 Rebel Tame leave in smoothing control cream for medium to coarse hair in high humidity.
Both of these products really do work! and reduce frizz by 82% after just one use!
Its also excellent on curly hair that you want to just lose that frizz and keep the curl, to do this- shampoo with sulfate and sodium free frizz dismiss Shampoo and condition either with Frizz Dismiss conditioner or mask, leave either on for 5 minutes before rinsing, once rinsed comb through and add a little Frizz Dismiss Rebel Tame, scrunch into the hair and leave to dry, scrunching as it dries and add a little more to the ends if needed once dry.
In salon we have found it is excellent on frizzy hair when blow drying smooth and the heavier Rebel Tame can be used on finer hair but only use a very small amount.
